The Rockies ended their season a few days ago and the Mets were tied 0-0 with the Giants in the Wild Card Game last evening until the ninth inning when the Giants scored three runs and took the game. I heard that it snowed up north in Wyoming and Montana over the weekend – yikes. Even for up there, that’s pretty rare for this time of year. Beautiful came home from her second annual Botswana Safari (camera not gun) on 7/2 after getting kinda stuck in Johannesburg, South Africa and then again in Munich, Germany. I’m home this week and next (except for a speaking engagement I was kindly asked to deliver in Denver yesterday for the regional chapter of a national communications, marketing, and PR association) with two of our kids while Beautiful is in Botswana on safari for two weeks. This is her second year going on safari at Mashatu Game Reserve (camera safari, not gun safari). She goes with a group of Australian lady friends (she’s the only American) and a guide who happens to be the only man in the group and he actually has his own nature show on Australia television. Well, Arapahoe Basin here in Colorado finally closed out the 2015/2016 ski season this past Sunday. Yes, you read that correctly. A-Basin opened back in October and finally shut the lifts down for the season on Sunday afternoon. Now, that’s a long ski season.   To read more click here
